WE THE PEOPLE

"We, the people..."

Those are the opening words of one of the greatest documents ever written, the Constitution of the United States.

What responsibility do we, the people, have to history?

The Bible, that book whose wisdom is endless, puts it to each of us in words that have never been equaled: “Thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself” (Luke 10:27).

If each of us will just do his or her best to live up to that majestic utterance, our responsibility to history will be fulfilled and our nation will prosper.
