TO TRUST THE LORD
We want to trust God with our lives, however, we don't always do as well as we should. Sometimes our faith waivers. Changing circumstances can be upsetting and devastating, yet we want to trust God always. The ancient writer helps us by admonishing,
"In all your ways acknowledge Him.""In all your ways" means that we will keep trusting, in days of sorrow and disappointment as well as in days of peace and joy. It means that we can face both sunshine and shadow with trust in God's goodness.
"In all your ways" means that we approach with faith our work as well as our worship, our routines as well as our unusual experiences, our valleys of distress as well as our mountains of delight.
"In all your ways" means accepting Christ as the head of your life, obeying God's laws, and acknowledging God as Lord of all.
"In all your ways" means that we do not merely tip our hat to God occasionally, but that we give our tithes and offerings faithfully as evidence of our trust in Him and His promise to meet all our needs. Tithing is an issue of true faith and trust.
"In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."
Proverbs 3:6 "God will meet all your needs according to His glorious
riches in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19
