PERCEPTIONS OF A LIFETIME

During many years of working with people, counseling them  and observing them, I have made the following observations which may be a bit less profound than those of the distinguished historian, but perhaps they are just as true:

Joyful people are those who are generous and kind.

Miserable people are those who are selfish and unforgiving.

  Problem solvers are those whose lives are powered by faith and optimism.

Problem people are those whose lives are drained by doubts and pessimism.

Winners are those who have learned to take full  responsibility for their actions.

 Losers are those who have a handy excuse for every failure.

Troubles come to pass--they do not come to stay.

 Most of us are greater than we dare to believe.

Adversity causes some persons to break,
others to break records.

 The simplest person can see God’s hand in nature;
the wise person sees God’s face in fellow human beings.
