Christian Commitment

man in prayer

“And everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an offering to the Lord.”  Exodus 35:21

Stewardship is an attitude of Christian commitment.  The giving of your spiritual, physical and mental resources affirming your devotion to God.  The total giving of all that God has entrusted into our care.  Our time, our talents and our treasures submitted through Christian faith.

Stewardship is also the practice of Christian life.  It is what we do with our lives; loving, giving, working and committing to Christ’s kingdom.  We lovingly give because we are not willing to accept the benefits of the Church without contributing to its work and making a commitment and fulfilling it reminds us we have an important share in the ministry of Christ.

We believe that in answer to God’s love and call to us, we now must accept our responsibilities and commit ourselves to administer and increase all the gifts and goods He entrusts to our hands.  Jesus tells his disciples in Luke 12:48: “From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

CAN YOU GIVE A GOOD ACCOUNT FOR YOUR TIME,
YOUR TALENTS OR YOUR TREASURES???
